Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, ensuring tailored treatment plans that facilitate recovery from injuries or surgeries.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise prescription to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and promote long-term health.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs that are regularly reassessed and modified to track each patient's progress and adjust treatment goals accordingly.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and outcome measures, ensuring all records meet regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, sharing insights from therapy sessions and integrating recommendations from other specialists.
• Educate patients and their families on self-management techniques and the therapeutic processes involved, empowering them to take charge of their rehabilitation journey.
• Stay abreast of developments in the field through continuous education and professional networking, attending workshops and contributing to team training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedically-focused practice serves a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As a therapist, you will work closely with patients ranging from children to seniors, ensuring that each treatment plan caters to their unique needs and levels of mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred for advanced clinical knowledge and practice.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy and eligibility for practice in Florida.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills; familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is an advantage.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care, capable of adjusting techniques based on individual patient responses.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings is ideal but not mandatory; new graduate applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

The compensation package for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 100,000 and 120,000, coupled with a comprehensive benefits plan that includes:
