Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, reviewing their medical history, performing assessments, and determining evidence-based recommendations and documentation of results.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, incorporating their feedback into the goal-setting process.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on clinical assessments, adapting strategies to accommodate each patient's evolving condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, consulting and referring to specialists as necessary, while ensuring effective communication regarding each patient's progress.
• Manage comprehensive discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring proper documentation reflects the patient's course of treatment, including timely encounter notes and progress summaries.
• Exhibit exemplary time management skills, maintaining an accurate schedule and participating in meetings and marketing activities.
• Contribute to the development and achievement of departmental goals, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality care.
• Engage in continuous education, both personally and within the organization, and serve as a clinical instructor to students as needed.
• Promote an excellent customer experience, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in addressing patient needs and access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an orthopedic physical therapist at Active Life Physical Therapy Center, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our goal is to guide patients through the healing process and empower them to reclaim their physical strength. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• State-level licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) as mandated by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in an orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient care activities efficiently.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation and current PT methodologies.
• Engagement in community outreach or educational initiatives that align with patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
