Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Onsite Position

Work Environment

As an onsite therapist, you will work closely with a team of experienced physical therapists and healthcare providers, benefitting from shared knowledge and multi-disciplinary collaboration while treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient evaluations and establish individualized care plans based on patient goals and therapy needs.
• Deliver therapy treatments to 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on improving motion and mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, incorporating manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's capabilities and objectives.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their treatment to optimize their recovery and functional outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring open communication with patients on their progress.
• Document all patient care services in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Develop comprehensive fitness and wellness programs to promote long-term health and prevent further injuries.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients facing orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our patients are diverse and range from active individuals who want to return to their sports to those needing assistance with daily living activities due to recovering from injuries or surgeries. You will play an essential role in guiding them through their rehabilitation, enhancing not only their physical capabilities but also their confidence and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Candidates possessing a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) will be prioritized.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist License without disciplinary actions.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid foundation in exercise techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior orthopedic outpatient experience as a physical therapist will be highly regarded. Experience in delivering physical therapy interventions in an outpatient setting and a track record of effective patient management and care are desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide patient education are essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
