Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Clearwater facility, an outpatient office fully equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Direct patient evaluations, screenings, and assessments to formulate individualized care plans aligned with physician recommendations.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques focused on pain management, mobility enhancement, and strength development.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring the correct execution of therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's plan of care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests and maintain detailed clinical records, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to adjust treatment strategies and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for overall patient management.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment expectations, rehabilitation goals, and home exercise programs to ensure effective outcomes beyond the clinic.
• Stay current with advancements in orthopedic therapy practices and methodologies to continuously enhance service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions affecting movement. You will work closely with diverse clients from various age groups, customizing your approach to meet their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Florida State Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A proactive, compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to document care succinctly and accurately following organizational policies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient or acute care environment, ideally with orthopedic focus.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation tools and techniques specific to orthopedic recovery.
• Experience in case management or working within an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

Healthy Motion Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
