Position Overview

Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. In this full-time, onsite role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our patients by helping them regain mobility and achieve optimal physical function. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for delivering individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs, while also contributing to the overall patient care strategy.

Work Environment

The selected candidate will work in our modern outpatient office located in Clearwater, Florida. Our facility boasts a spacious layout equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and rehabilitation resources, allowing our therapists to provide exceptional care. The work environment is characterized by teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. As a full-time team member, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify patient objectives and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives focused and high-quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Create and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document services rendered and patient progress diligently in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among patients by promoting strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Participate in continued education and professional development to stay current with industry best practices and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient practice, we predominantly serve patients with orthopedic conditions covered by private medical insurance. Our patient population includes individuals with post-surgical rehabilitation needs, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and those seeking to improve their functional performance through specialized therapeutic interventions. Your expertise will directly contribute to helping these patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean professional record, with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Solid foundation in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to create effective exercise protocols.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
• Experience in collaborating with other healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
