Mindful Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist (OPT) to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite within our outpatient office in Clearwater, Florida. You will be working a standard 40-hour schedule with variable weekends as needed. The office is designed to foster teamwork and cooperation, allowing you to work closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, providing the best care possible for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will engage in a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to understand their unique needs and limitations.
• Developing tailored treatment and discharge plans, ensuring the highest quality of personalized care.
• Implementing treatment plans and re-evaluating patient progress, adjusting therapy methods as required.
• Documenting treatments and charges accurately for both yourself and assigned support staff while adhering to patient privacy regulations.
• Collaborating effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss patient progress and necessary program adjustments.
• Participating in community outreach and quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance our departmental practices.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, ensuring a cohesive therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of a diverse group of individuals experiencing various orthopedic conditions. This role involves working with patients across all age groups and cultural backgrounds, requiring proficiency in culturally sensitive communication and customer service standards. You will play an integral part in helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life through effective therapy.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient care. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience with interdisciplinary collaboration will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Mindful Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
