Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art outpatient office located in Clearwater, Florida. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs, aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring functional mobility.
• Perform thorough evaluations using diagnostic and prognostic assessments to determine the client's level of function and establish treatment goals.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of the treatment plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and establishing clear lines of communication.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, instructing and motivating patients in both manual and non-manual therapeutic activities.
• Evaluate home environments for rehabilitation appropriateness and recommend modifications to promote independence and safety.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences to create and refine comprehensive care plans, contributing to a cohesive treatment approach.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing education on treatment methods, device usage, and the overall home care program.
• Ensure compliance with state laws regarding supervisory responsibilities for Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Complete administrative tasks such as timely submission of clinical orders and documentation, adhering to agency policies and requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services by participating in training, professional development, and team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse range of clients, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain conditions, and patients requiring rehabilitation after injury or illness. Our emphasis is on developing a strong rapport with each client, promoting adherence to treatment plans, and fostering an environment where questions and concerns can be addressed effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of professional experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, with a preference for candidates with acute care or home care experience.
• Active and current physical therapy licensure in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a genuine passion for patient care and engagement.
• Ability to integrate creativity and critical thinking into the design and delivery of therapy services.
• Proficiency in understanding and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations affecting physical therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, especially in clinical supervision and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of the latest physical therapy techniques and modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
