Work Environment

This role is situated onsite in our Clearwater outpatient office, a vibrant setting that fosters team collaboration and direct patient interaction. Working hours will be Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and administer therapeutic treatment to clients based on evidence-based practices aimed at relieving pain, preventing disabilities, and restoring optimal function aligned with the individual's treatment plan.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of care protocols, offering guidance and support throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using diagnostic tests that assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Regularly assess the home environment to provide strategic recommendations that enhance patient independence and facilitate rehabilitation.
• Implement individual therapy programs including manual and non-manual exercises tailored to meet patient capabilities and goals.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as traction and massage, while documenting progress meticulously in clinical records including initial evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing to the holistic care planning and evaluation process for each client.
• Foster effective communication with patients and families, educating them about therapy protocols, necessary equipment, and overall health maintenance to empower their recovery.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations, ensuring timely submission of clinical orders and documentation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
