Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Wellstar Physiotherapy, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and directing individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities and restoring physical functions tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Overseeing physical therapy assistants to ensure accurate execution of care plans, and providing guidance and mentorship as necessary.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels using diagnostic tests related to muscle and joint health.
• Assessing clients' home environments to recommend necessary modifications to enhance their rehabilitation outcomes and independence.
• Delivering physical therapy services based on physician prescriptions, including administering therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage.
• Monitoring and documenting client progress meticulously, and actively participating in the review and revision of care plans to adapt treatment strategies as needed.
• Facilitating interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment adaptations, ensuring a holistic treatment approach.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families in utilizing physical therapy techniques and devices effectively.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, for precise and efficient documentation.
• Stay current with the latest physical therapy research and techniques through continuous education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:

• Prior clinical experience in an outpatient setting, engaging with a broad range of physical therapy practices.
• Experience in rehabilitative care involving geriatric populations or athletes is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
