Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Agile Body Therapy & Home Care, your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians.
• Documenting patient progress accurately and timely using our electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with best practices.
• Providing specialized care for diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, employing a multidisciplinary approach.
• Administering therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities, tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Training patients and their caregivers on home exercise programs, self-management techniques, and preventive care strategies to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance treatment methodologies and improve patient care.
• Meeting productivity targets and organizational goals while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of patients, ranging from those recovering from surgeries to individuals with chronic pain and movement disorders. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE-approved).
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective patient interactions and clinical documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and computer literacy, particularly with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy for this position:

• Previous experience in home health therapy or community-based care settings.

Compensation and Benefits
