Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Elite Home Solution, you will work in an onsite home care setting, providing therapy in the familiar and comfortable surroundings of your patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical and functional status of patients in a home care setting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing methods such as exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices tailored to each patient's condition.
• Implement treatment interventions aimed at reducing pain, enhancing mobility, and improving overall function, directly in the patient's home.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation exercises, the use of assistive technologies, and strategies to facilitate independence in daily activities.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices by participating in professional development opportunities, including workshops and webinars.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from a variety of health challenges such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your ability to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each patient will play a critical role in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Basic proficiency with computer software for documentation and scheduling purposes.
• Flexibility and a proactive approach to adapting treatment plans and handling varying patient needs.
• A current CPR certification is mandatory for all therapeutic practitioners.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of direct experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.
