Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy treatments to prevent disability and alleviate pain in orthopedic patients.
• Evaluating the functional capabilities of clients through detailed diagnostic assessments and tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Implementing personalized treatment plans based on each client's specific medical history and treatment goals, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.
• Supervising and mentoring physical therapy assistants to promote effective execution of patient care plans and compliance with therapy protocols.
• Conducting evaluations of the home environment to ensure safety and accessibility, making recommendations to enhance clients' independence.
• Keeping accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations and progress notes, aligning with regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams during case conferences to co-develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Providing education to patients and families on physical therapy concepts and home exercise programs to encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Completing all required documentation promptly, in accordance with branch guidelines, to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patients' conditions and their response to treatment, updating care plans accordingly.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients of various ages and backgrounds, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to those managing chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

Priority will be given to candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedics, familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and advanced training in manual therapy techniques or specialized modalities. Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000–120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
