Position Overview

Flex Life Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Clearwater, Florida. The salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized care plans that leverage a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Administer effective treatment modalities aimed at minimizing the reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to inform tailored treatment strategies.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs, ensuring they align with each patient's unique progress and recovery goals.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions to manage pain and improve movement quality.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering independence and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes thoroughly to ensure continuity of care and compliance with clinical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily assist patients with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Your expertise will directly impact the recovery of individuals recovering from various surgeries or injuries, such as joint replacements or sports injuries. You will work closely with a diverse patient population, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current state certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in orthopedics.
• Proficiency in developing and conducting exercise regimens that promote functional recovery.
• Expertise in advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient practice is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and communication.
• Knowledge of contemporary rehabilitation methodologies and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
