Easy Start Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Senior Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team in Largo, Florida. The salary range for this position is highly competitive, between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' physical abilities, needs, and goals, particularly in cases related to spine surgeries.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate multiple therapeutic modalities to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information, adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Actively participate in compliance and safety training to uphold professional and ethical standards.
• Engage in community outreach programs aimed at promoting health and wellness initiatives.
• Leverage technology for efficient record-keeping and communication, proficiently using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to create a comprehensive care plan.
• Exercise sound judgment and decision-making, adapting treatment approaches in response to patient progress or challenges.
• Provide guidance and education for patients and their families on exercise techniques, pain management strategies, and rehabilitation goals.
• Foster professional relationships with all team members, maintaining a positive clinic atmosphere conducive to patient healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, particularly those involving the spine. This role requires a deep understanding of the physical limitations and rehabilitation needs specific to this demographic, aiming to restore mobility and functional independence. You will see a diverse range of patients, from active individuals seeking to return to sports to elderly clients requiring support in daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. Candidates with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are highly preferred.
• Current and active physical therapy license in the state of Florida, with the understanding that maintaining this license in good standing is crucial throughout employment.
• CPR certification, which must either be obtained during orientation or be current by the start of your employment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience, particularly with spine surgery rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems will be an advantage.
• Proven track record of effective treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction.
