Work Environment

This position is an onsite role, primarily focusing on home care settings, enabling patients to receive personalized support within the comfort of their own residences. You will typically work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a predictable work schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the individual objectives and health requirements of each patient, creating a holistic treatment approach tailored to their unique needs.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated and focused care for optimal recovery.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to administer effective and cost-efficient treatments.
• Implement non-surgical alternatives, reducing the reliance on medication through the promotion of therapeutic exercises.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing each patient's movement abilities.
• Deliver high-quality, individualized care grounded in solid evidence and best practice interventions.
• Provide encouragement and motivation during therapy sessions, helping to maximize each patient's potential for functionality and independence.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by working with patients to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining detailed documentation of services rendered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of all ages needing orthopedic rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, you will work directly with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. Your interventions will not only aim to alleviate pain but also enhance functional mobility and overall physical health.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Comfortable utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Experience in home health care or rehabilitation therapy.
• Competence in advanced therapeutic techniques, including modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist role offers a competitive annual salary range between USD 75,000 and 95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
