This position will be primarily remote, allowing you to provide therapy sessions while working from your home in Palmdale, California. You will play a vital role in supporting clients through family and group therapy, psychotherapy, and psychoeducational programs tailored specifically to meet the needs of adolescents and teenagers.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess the psychological and emotional needs of clients, particularly focusing on adolescents and their families.

• Implement crisis interventions to provide immediate support to patients in distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
\n
• Perform ongoing assessments, leveraging tools and methodologies consistent with best practices in mental health therapy.
\n
• Collaborate with Reentry Social Workers to develop appropriate discharge plans that facilitate optimized healthcare transitions for patients.
\n
• Provide necessary follow-up care to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as needed.
\n
• Lead and coordinate psychoeducational and process groups that focus on building coping skills, emotional resilience, and improving interpersonal relationships.
\n
• Ensure timely completion of statistical reports and documentation to comply with state regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Participate in case conferences to discuss treatment planning for current and prospective patients, integrating feedback into care approaches.
\n
• Contribute to clinical supervision meetings with your Clinical Supervisor to foster growth and address challenges within your caseload.
\n
• Supervise social work interns or volunteers, providing mentorship and guidance in their developmental pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with teenagers and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, and behavioral problems. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $52,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
