This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while leveraging telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions with clients. The flexible scheduling provides an opportunity to balance personal and professional commitments, with our operational hours running from Monday to Saturday. We also facilitate in-house credentialing and management of insurance participation, alleviating administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to identify their mental health needs and treatment goals.

• Conduct initial patient evaluations and triage care efficiently, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to establish a coherent treatment plan.

• Maintain clear communication through regular documentation and team meetings, ensuring all staff are informed about patient progress and interventions.

• Exhibit expertise in addressing the diverse physical, psychological, educational, and safety needs of clients across all age groups.

• Manage assigned case loads by coordinating with community programs and healthcare providers to deliver holistic care.

• Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment techniques to support patients in achieving their personalized service plans.

• Complete documentation ethically and in a timely manner, aligning with departmental standards and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Horizon Heal Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Candidates must hold a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Willingness to commit between 10 to 40 hours per week, with flexible session scheduling options available.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health therapy is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants with experience in telehealth settings and familiarity with various therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, experience in case management and interdisciplinary collaboration will be advantageous.
