Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' histories and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to share their experiences and work through emotional distress.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated care approach for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, responding effectively during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, adhering to legal and ethical documentation standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending case consultations and team meetings focused on best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including severe psychiatric conditions related to PTSD and complex trauma. This role requires sensitivity to diverse issues affecting clients, including cultural, socioeconomic, and personal factors. Your approach will be integral in helping clients process and heal from their experiences, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
