Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to determine clients’ mental health statuses and counseling needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans through careful analysis that aligns with clients’ personal goals and clinical requirements.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing ongoing support and therapeutic strategies to assist clients in overcoming challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to diverse mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, substance use, and eating disorders.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including providing referrals to psychiatrists when necessary.

• Document patient interactions and treatment progress comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR), maintaining confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and peer consultation groups to enhance skills and therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Broadview, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health challenges. Our patients may include children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various issues, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and relational difficulties. Our practice values cultural competence, and you will be expected to deliver therapy that is responsive and respectful to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing therapeutic services.
\n
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proven ability to deliver individual and group therapy effectively, incorporating inclusive and culturally responsive methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor in high-pressure or challenging situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
