Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on enhancing clients' resilience and coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage clients to process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to each client's care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely assistance when facing acute emotional distress.

• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses, developing effective coping mechanisms, and accessing available resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, whether it be from recent events or long-standing issues. You will work with a diverse clientele, assisting those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders to navigate their trauma recovery journey. Through effective communication and evidence-based interventions, you will help clients foster resilience and ultimately regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within Texas.

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies with demonstrated effectiveness.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a solid foundation in trauma therapy is essential, candidates with additional certifications in trauma-specific modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits\n
