Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Vista Mind, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations for clients to evaluate their mental health status, needs, and personal goals.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client, while utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including evidence-based and solution-focused approaches.

• Provide individual therapy sessions to adult clients through secure teletherapy platforms, making adjustments as necessary based on client feedback and progress.

• Deliver crisis intervention services effectively when required, ensuring that clients feel supported and safe during challenging moments.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and networking events to remain informed on the latest in mental health best practices.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a trusting, therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple clients effectively.
