Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider the interplay between mental health conditions and underlying medical issues, tailoring evaluations that reflect each individual’s needs.

• Devise and implement effective integrated treatment plans that encompass psychiatric support and collaborate with medical professionals for an all-encompassing treatment strategy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will predominantly work with adults and adolescents presenting a range of mental health challenges, particularly those with dual diagnoses including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and other co-occurring medical issues. By focusing on integrated care, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients navigate the complexities of their health care needs, fostering resilience and empowerment throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• A solid foundation in understanding and addressing mental health needs, particularly for those with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a diverse population.

• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and upholding ethical standards, including patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, familiarity with therapeutic methodologies within integrated care, and a record of working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams will enhance your candidacy.
