Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations to establish individual patient treatment goals, involving assessments of strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.
• Create and implement effective treatment plans that leverage a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and exercise protocols.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring that each interaction is focused and advantageous for the patient's recovery journey.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care services thoroughly using EMR software, specifically WebPT, adhering to the highest standards of care and compliance.
• Educate patients about their conditions and demystify the rehabilitation process to empower them and promote adherence to their treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide well-rounded care, capturing insights from physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, and occupational therapists.
• Motivate and inspire patients to engage in their recovery, reinforcing the importance of commitment to their treatment and lifestyle modifications.
• Contribute to ongoing team discussions about patient care strategies and best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions who require rehabilitation after injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain situations. Our clientele includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, total joint replacements, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Each patient requires a unique approach, which you will expertly tailor, ensuring their treatment aligns with their personal health goals and functional aspirations.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, demonstrating a thorough foundation in therapeutic practices.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist must be held, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• A pristine professional record, with no history of disciplinary actions, is necessary for maintaining trust and obligation in patient care.
• Proficiency in a wide range of manual therapy techniques is essential for effective treatment delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
