Work Environment

The position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and set measurable treatment objectives tailored to individual goals.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, providing one-on-one therapy sessions with a focus on high-quality care to ensure optimal patient results.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall physical functionality.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and create customized exercise protocols designed to achieve each patient's goals and manage their conditions effectively.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adapting treatment plans as necessary while maintaining clear and precise documentation of progress in our EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and home exercise programs to support long-term recovery and health maintenance.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, motivating them to adhere to treatment protocols and maximize their functional potential.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

• Excellent competency in manual therapy techniques is essential to provide thorough care.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.

• Previous involvement in developing and leading fitness and wellness programs for diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
