Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCPC, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Conduct engaging group therapy sessions for young adults, enabling them to connect, share experiences, and support one another in a safe environment.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Deliver personalized counseling sessions to clients, helping them explore and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans, tailored to their specific needs and aspirations.

• Monitoring Progress: Assess and document client progress through the use of assessment tools, feedback mechanisms, and regular consultations with other team members.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health services to young adults aged 18 to 30 who are facing various challenges. The center specializes in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) treatments, utilizing a range of techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy to mindfulness strategies, all aimed at fostering personal growth and recovery. By meeting clients where they are and supporting their unique journeys, you will contribute to their healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• A proven ability to provide therapeutic support to young adults experiencing mental health challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
