Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Engage and lead therapy groups, promoting safe spaces for young adult participants to share experiences and learn from one another.

• Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one sessions to clients, tailoring your approach to address their unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while helping them develop effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaboratively establish individualized treatment plans with clients, setting realistic goals that align with their personal aspirations and strengths.

• Ongoing Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to evaluate each client’s progress, ensuring that their treatment remains effective and adaptable.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of clinicians, including psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to coordinate the best care for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults ages 18 to 30, who are accessing our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces complex life transitions and mental health challenges, and your expertise will be crucial in empowering them to overcome these hurdles. The center provides a supportive environment where clients can engage in evidence-based therapies and holistic treatment approaches.

• A master’s degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois is required.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sunny Square Family Guidance Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
