Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC at Arrowhead, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations to create tailored treatment plans.

• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions for patients requiring immediate mental health care.
\n
• Collaborating with primary care providers to identify suitable treatment goals for patients and refer to specialty mental health facilities when necessary.
\n
• Implementing follow-up assessments to track patient progress and adapt treatment strategies effectively.
\n
• Developing relapse prevention strategies and facilitating stability for patients at risk of deteriorating mental health.
\n
• Connecting patients to community resources and additional treatment providers to enhance their care continuum.
\n
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and updates in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
\n
• Delivering educational resources and self-management skills to empower patients in their recovery journey.
\n
• Engaging with clinic management and team members to evaluate program outcomes and suggest improvements.
\n
• Assisting patients with compliance to medical treatments initiated by their primary care provider, including strategies for managing medication side effects.

• Upholding the ethical standards set forth by the clinical profession.

• Other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required to be considered for this role:

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in Illinois.

• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic techniques.

• Ability to formulate diagnostic impressions in accordance with DSM-IV criteria.

• Capacity to assess individual patient needs and adjust care plans as necessary.

• Effectiveness in maintaining clinical records and preparing detailed reports.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build cooperative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
