Our practice operates as a community health clinic, providing a remote work environment that supports a flexible schedule. We understand the importance of work-life balance and create tailored opportunities through a schedule that accommodates both client needs and therapist preferences, operating from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and customize appropriate treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that target trauma recovery and build resilience in clients.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma-related responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCPC in the state of Illinois.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, specifically in trauma-focused therapy.

• Involvement with couples therapy is a plus, as we provide additional training in this area.

• Demonstrated commitment to personal development and the ability to meet documentation standards efficiently, ideally completing notes within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, providing a competitive income reflective of your experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
