Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions through telehealth, employing effective therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their personal goals.

• Maintain regular communication with supervisors, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders regarding client progress and treatment plans, ensuring all parties are informed and involved.

• Provide ongoing follow-up care, including home visits and virtual check-ins, to monitor client advancement and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Prepare and maintain thorough documentation of treatment sessions, assessments, progress notes, and other relevant client data to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to collaborate on best practices and contribute to the development of comprehensive care strategies for clients.

• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for staff to ensure effective implementation of treatment programs and compliance with documentation requirements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting addressing diverse mental health issues.

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and telehealth technology to effectively manage client information and conduct virtual sessions.

• A solid understanding of ethical standards and legal compliance within the mental health field.
