Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Embers Counseling Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to individuals, families, and groups.

• Facilitating therapy sessions, which may be conducted via video conferencing tools, to ensure a safe and confidential environment for clients.
\n
• Maintaining detailed clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engaging in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, and staying informed on the latest mental health research to continually enhance your practice.

• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, engaging with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and social workers as needed.

The primary population served by Embers Counseling Center includes individuals and families dealing with a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. With a focus on clients who may lack access to traditional therapy, your role will be crucial in helping them navigate their mental health journeys and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in psychology and counseling.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, crucial for establishing rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
