Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to order and interpret necessary tests, adjusting treatment plans based on results and patient feedback.
• Prescribe medications, including pain management therapies, ensuring that all interventions are justified and closely monitored for effectiveness and safety.
• Engage in direct patient education, guiding individuals on pain management strategies, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and coping mechanisms to enhance their quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care, participating in case discussions, and leveraging the collective expertise of physicians, nurses, and therapists.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to support ongoing care and compliance standards.

• Stay updated on emerging trends, research, and technologies in pain management to continually enhance patient care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve patients struggling with chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to arthritis, migraines, fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain. This role requires a compassionate approach to understand the multifaceted impacts of pain on individuals' physical, emotional, and social well-being. Qualifications

• A current Nurse Practitioner certification and an active State of Florida nursing license are mandatory.
