Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting detailed mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to determine patient needs.

• Collaborating with patients to co-create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals and cultural contexts.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) across different formats, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Providing crisis intervention services in acute situations and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care.

• Documenting clinical progress meticulously, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to all applicable regulatory guidelines.

• Facilitating psychoeducation sessions for patients and families, imparting vital knowledge to manage mental health conditions effectively.

• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment progress, share insights, and enhance collaborative care efforts.

• Conducting routine outcome assessments to evaluate treatment efficacy and making necessary adjustments to enhance patient progress.

• Staying updated on the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health, consistently incorporating this knowledge into your practice.

• Upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality in every aspect of your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is primarily on children and families who have encountered various challenges, including trauma, emotional difficulties, and behavioral issues. You will be working with a diverse client base in Corpus Christi, Texas, providing culturally sensitive care that acknowledges and respects the unique backgrounds and perspectives of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work is required; a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.

• Possession of an active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n
