Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create personalized treatment plans for clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy, among others.

• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions, addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and records in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate data is available for client care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to optimize overall client outcomes and engagement in treatment.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and peer review to remain current with advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges, families in crisis, and couples seeking improvement in their relationships. Many of our clients come from underserved populations who may have previously faced barriers to accessing mental health care, making your role critical in bridging that gap.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, with extensive knowledge of therapeutic modalities.

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting with a focus on emotionally-distressed populations.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base and maintain professional relationships.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to enhance case management and client care strategies.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms to facilitate client engagement and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use recovery is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and case load availability.
