Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Physical Therapist, your primary responsibility will be to implement effective treatment programs tailored to each patient's needs. Specific tasks include:

• Documenting clinical findings accurately and providing comprehensive reports to identify trends and specialty areas for growth.
• Conducting Peer-to-Peer Consultations with fellow therapists to discuss treatment plans, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines before presenting cases for final review by the Medical Director.
• Reviewing and assessing requests for PT services to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of treatment modalities, ensuring alignment with nationally recognized clinical guidelines and utilization management protocols.
• Providing timely clinical reviews of supporting information such as diagnosis, evaluations, and progress notes, ensuring that each patient's care is effectively managed.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on comprehensive care strategies for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from physical injuries, surgeries, cognitive impairments, and various psychosocial conditions. Your role will involve conducting assessments and tailored interventions that promote independence and enhance overall physical function. You will also work with pediatric patients, ensuring a multifaceted approach to rehabilitation that addresses the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• In-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology, with proficiency in advanced therapeutic techniques such as trigger point therapy.
