Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate each client's emotional and psychological needs, identifying presenting issues and mental health statuses through structured interviews and questionnaires.

• Develop tailored treatment plans collaboratively with clients that encompass specific goals, evidenced interventions, and clear expected outcomes to guide the therapeutic process.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions addressing a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating an inclusive environment for clients with shared experiences to foster peer support and learning opportunities.

• Respond effectively to crises by providing immediate support, developing safety plans, and adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed in high-stress situations.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records, document therapy outcomes systematically, and liaise with insurance companies and other healthcare providers as necessary to ensure continuity of care.

• Adhere to professional ethical codes, ensuring client confidentiality, setting appropriate boundaries, and engaging in ongoing training to remain compliant with industry standards.

The primary client demographic served includes adults and adolescents facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Clients may vary in their backgrounds, presenting issues, and personal experiences, which requires the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral science field from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, with documentation of passing the required licensing exam.
