Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the presence and intensity of mood disorder symptoms, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs, goals, and preferences of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and enhance coping strategies.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families, particularly in understanding mood disorders and effective self-care techniques.

• Regularly track and document client progress, making necessary modifications to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve service quality.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of all client interactions in alignment with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops aimed at enhancing therapeutic effectiveness.

• Advocate for clients within the community to promote awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and your ability to build rapport with individuals from various cultures and experiences will be essential to fostering therapeutic relationships and achieving meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome candidates from all backgrounds, preference will be given to those possessing at least two years of post-licensure experience with a specific focus on mood disorders. A solid proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods such as CBT and DBT is essential. Familiarity with psychopharmacology and experience working collaboratively with psychiatrists will be highly regarded.
