Job ID#: 42331 Cash Accounting Specialist Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours Work Arrangement: Fully onsite with 1 work-from-home day per week Target Start: Within 1–2 weeks We are seeking a Cash Accounting Specialist to support daily cash accounting activities, historical transaction cleanup, and month-end bank reconciliations. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of transactional accounting experience who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with high-volume cash transactions. Key Responsibilities Enter and reconcile historical and backdated cash transactions in Workday to bring accounts current and support the system's automated reconciliation process. Process monthly cash transactions and bank reconciliations to ensure cash accounts are fully reconciled and closed by Day 1 of the month-end close cycle. Manage cash activity across approximately 15–18 bank accounts . Process approximately 100 manual crossover entries per month during peak periods. Research and resolve cash and reconciliation discrepancies , partnering with internal team members when additional information or assistance is needed. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure transactions are properly recorded and reconciled. Support the accounting team with additional cash-related and transactional accounting activities as needed. Qualifications 1–2 years of transactional accounting experience , preferably with exposure to cash transactions and bank reconciliations. Previous Workday experience strongly preferred , although training can be provided for candidates with strong accounting systems experience. Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial transactions. Ability to research discrepancies, identify issues, and follow through to resolution. Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing repetitive, high-volume transactional work. Industry experience is not required . Work Environment Collaborative and team-oriented accounting environment. Looking for a self-starter who is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
