Work Environment\n

This full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance while still maintaining a supportive team environment. Though remote, our therapists actively engage through virtual meetings and case consults with our interdisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening hours available on a rotating basis based on client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, adeptly identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that target both mental health and substance use needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on developing coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate integrated care, effectively linking clients to other necessary services and supports.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing strategies to enhance client engagement in the recovery process.

• Provide essential education to clients and their families regarding the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment progress and interventions, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case conferences, training sessions, and staff meetings to continuously improve knowledge and skills related to co-occurring disorders.

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, a demographic requiring specialized care and interventions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies that cater to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong understanding of the intricacies of mental health and substance use disorder interactions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting working with clients who present co-occurring disorders.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 75,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
