Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients to accurately evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their specific goals and preferences.

• Utilize proven therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.

• Stay informed about current research and treatment developments in the field of mood disorders to ensure the highest standards of care.

• Maintain precise and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Stride Health Care, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, each seeking support through tailored therapeutic interventions. Your role will be crucial in fostering a supportive and healing environment for these clients as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically for mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and advocacy.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference may be given to individuals with prior experience in outpatient behavioral health settings, particularly within community health clinics. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and experience with telehealth practices are also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
