Business Development Representative

Location: SPP Norcross, GA – 411A; 7575 Ponce De Leon Circle, Suite J, Doraville, GA 30340. Pay: Competitive base pay plus annual bonus opportunities, company vehicle, benefits. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and profits within the assigned territory across all customer segments. Prospect, generate, and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research; follow up on qualified opportunities. Build and maintain long‑term relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to customers. Plan and conduct scheduled sales calls with defined objectives for the book of business. Travel within designated territory to deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations and provide solutions to customer needs. Negotiate terms, close sales, and handle post‑sale support and customer satisfaction issues. Coordinate sales efforts with corporate marketing, incentives, and industry events. Provide accurate quotes and product data promptly. Maintain customer records in the CRM system and submit timely reports and call logs. Conduct ongoing market research on competitor activities, market conditions, and industry trends. Qualifications At least 2 years of professional B2B sales experience, preferably in a wholesale distribution environment. Proven track record of successful sales and ability to cold‑call prospective clients. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust. Knowledge of industry products and distribution processes (pool equipment, plumbing supplies, tile, decking, etc.). Self‑motivation and ability to work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft CRM (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with inventory management software such as Prelude preferred. Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record (no more than 2 violations in 3 years), and willingness to travel regularly. Ability to lift and move up to 75lb on occasion. Minimum age 21 years.
