This role operates within a completely remote setting, providing flexibility and comfort while empowering clinicians to excel in their practice. Our outpatient office model allows for supportive interactions with clients who require various degrees of mental health support, maintaining an effective balance between professional collaboration and personal comfort.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Monitor client outcomes consistently as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Document patient progress meticulously, utilizing electronic health records to ensure accuracy and compliance with confidentiality standards.

• Engage in regular case conferences and treatment team meetings, sharing insights and innovative best practices to enhance overall client care.

• Collaborate closely with other professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to create holistic treatment plans.

• Develop and facilitate therapeutic activities, including group therapy sessions and recreational therapies, tailored to meet the needs of diverse groups.

• Employ the coaching model and natural environment teaching strategies to enhance client engagement and therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse array of clients facing various behavioral health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise in dealing with a wide range of mental health issues will be critical in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, supporting them with empathy and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Candidates must hold a current LPCC license in the state of California.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a clinical counseling setting is essential.

• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for documentation and client management.

• Proficiency in medical documentation practices, including the use of electronic health records systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as familiarity with integrated care models, will be advantageous. Additionally, any prior experience working in outpatient settings will be beneficial in this role.
