Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), you will play a pivotal role in the therapeutic development and recovery of young adults at our center. Your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead dynamic group sessions that encourage open dialogue among clients, fostering understanding and mutual support.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized counseling sessions where clients can explore their unique thoughts and feelings, assisting them in creating actionable coping strategies.

• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to establish individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Employ various assessment tools to track client progress, adjust treatment methodologies as necessary, and maintain comprehensive case notes to support ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborative Case Management: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that meets client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, many of whom are navigating complex mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, emotional trauma, and mood disorders. By utilizing evidence-based and holistic approaches in your treatment delivery, you will empower these individuals to reclaim control over their lives and foster a supportive environment conducive to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of 1 year working directly with clients facing mental health/mood disorders in either residential or outpatient environments is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
