Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges to inform personalized treatment plans.

• Engage in regular case consultations with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Document client progress meticulously and maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, ensuring client safety and timely access to additional resources when needed.

• Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings to stay current with best practices in the mental health field and enhance clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPCC at Sharp Mental Healthcare Center, you will primarily work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health issues. This may encompass anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. Your role will be pivotal in fostering therapeutic relationships and providing a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings, promoting healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• An active LPCC license in the state of California is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
