This position is primarily remote, with opportunities for both telehealth and face-to-face sessions. Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a flexible work schedule, with availability for clients from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Our outpatient setting combines the convenience of remote care with the option for in-person interaction. You'll have access to a supportive team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, who collaborate to provide comprehensive care to our clients. We maintain a focus on trauma-informed practices, ensuring you will be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to ongoing professional development and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Create tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma, building coping strategies, and fostering healing.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to coordinate integrated care for clients, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their recovery journey.

• Provide support during crises and trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate interventions as necessary.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in case consultations, professional development workshops, and team meetings centered on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LPCC will primarily involve supporting diverse individuals facing various trauma-related challenges. You will engage with clients from different backgrounds and cultures, ensuring a sensitive, individualized approach that respects their unique experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly within trauma-informed care frameworks.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey compassion and understanding effectively.

• Competence in handling high-stress situations calmly and compassionately.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and modern computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, along with guaranteed pay and opportunities for annual increases and bonuses. Benefits include:
