As part of our outpatient office setting, you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans that ensure holistic care for each client. Key Responsibilities\n

You will be responsible for a variety of therapeutic tasks, including:

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychotherapy to effectively address client needs.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic goals and interventions while regularly assessing progress through structured evaluations.

• Collaboratively engaging with other healthcare professionals within our group practice to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Providing immediate support and intervention to families in crisis situations, employing de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies to stabilize emotional distress and conflict.

• Maintaining detailed documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and families dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your ability to connect and build therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds is vital in fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere where they can express their concerns and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• An active state license in Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in providing mental health counseling to children and families in a therapeutic setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse clientele and fostering trusting therapeutic relationships.
