Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and inform treatment planning.

• Coordinate care among multidisciplinary teams, which may include other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers.

• Provide individual, family, or group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients, focusing on evidence-based practices.

• Act as a liaison with community agencies, ensuring clients receive integrated support through external resources.

• Document treatment plans, clinical notes, and progress summaries accurately, adhering to established medical records policies.

• Participate in disposition planning and advocacy to guide clients toward achieving their therapy goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position encompasses a diverse adult and geriatric clientele, with plans to also serve child and adolescent populations in the future. Working with clients from various backgrounds, you will address a wide array of issues including but not limited to relational conflicts, emotional dysregulation, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Your role is pivotal in helping individuals and families achieve healthier dynamics and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (or a closely related field) is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of theoretical and clinical models applicable to family and marital therapy.

• Proven ability to establish rapport and develop strong therapeutic alliances with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience in writing clear and succinct clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy in patient records.

• Adept at performing mental status exams and recognizing changes in client conditions.

• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams and community resources.

Compensation and Benefits\n
