Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing rapport, trust, and positive working relationships while upholding professional boundaries and ethics.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their progress, assess stability, and plan future appointments or discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.

• Thoroughly document sessions and maintain up-to-date progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Perform initial intake assessments to evaluate clients' presenting concerns and establish treatment needs.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, focusing on evidence-based techniques to support client growth.

• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including coordination of services and sharing of relevant information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Omnicare Counseling Center, you will provide therapeutic support to a diverse client population, including adults, children, and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Connecticut, with no restrictions on independent practice.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation.

• Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft Excel, electronic health record systems (like PIMSY), and email platforms.

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
