Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.

• Utilize scientifically supported therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others, to implement effective interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Collaborate with other professionals in the clinic to ensure a holistic approach to client care, discussing treatment strategies in regular team meetings.

• Document all client interactions and treatment strategies in compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal policies, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training and supervision, enhancing personal skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your therapeutic methods will be tailored to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, ensuring culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia is essential.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in a clinical or community health setting, is needed.

Preferred Experience\n
