Account Executive, LE GTS- Strategic Accounts

Account Executive – High Tech Strategic Accounts Account Executives are solution‑oriented professionals who drive client contract value retention and growth through contract expansion with new products and services. The role focuses on high‑tech accounts with annual revenues between $100M and $500M, leveraging consensus sales and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver top‑notch account management. What you'll do Consult with C‑level executives to develop and implement enterprise‑wide strategies that enhance the value of Gartner products and services. Manage accounts to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth. Achieve a quota of $800,000+ in contract value within a territory of major client accounts. Maintain forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. What you need 4‑8 years of external consultative sales experience with proven results. Proficiency in account planning and territory management. Ability to prospect and build relationships with C‑level and senior executives in midsize and large organizations. Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen. Experience building strong client relationships through strategic insights. Strong computer proficiency, excellent written and oral presentation skills. Knowledge of the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $101,000 – $140,000 USD, subject to variation based on experience and location. Eligible employees participate in an annual bonus plan or an uncapped sales incentive plan. Benefits include generous paid time off, a 401(k) match up to $7,200 per year, stock purchase options, and other market‑leading programs.
