Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to determine unique needs and therapy goals.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions based on identified issues, employing evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Accurately complete billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner to support the administrative efficiency of our clinic.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness strategies to equip patients with the tools they need for stable functioning.

• Create solid discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition for patients leaving therapy.
\n
• Maintain adherence to federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, to uphold the highest standards of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and stay current with mental health trends.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing insights and collaborative strategies.
\n
• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training requirements as dictated by regulatory bodies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our mental health counselors serve a diverse client base, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse disorders. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Mandatory licensure: Candidates must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
